While working at Accenture and then for Music2Deal, I also worked as a Fundraising Volunteer for UNICEF between 2011 and 2014.

Active in more than 190 countries, The United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) is a United Nations Program that provides humanitarian and developmental assistance to children and mothers in developing countries (vaccines, medicines, nutritional supplements, emergency shelters, educational supplies,…) since 1946. With always three strategic priorities in mind: The survival, health and education of 2.2 billion children around the world whatever their country, culture, religion or gender.

Within UNICEF France, I have been in charge of raising money for the children of the world who need our help (especially in Africa, in the Middle East and in Asia) by being responsible for the UNICEF shop located inside the Louvre Museum in the heart of Paris. My volunteering work during my days off, weekends and holidays consisted of informing in different languages our international clientèle about the important role of this NGO on our planet and maximizing merchandising sales and donations.

I also participated punctually during weekdays, when my agenda allowed it, to the project « Poupées Frimousses » in schools (écoles maternelles and écoles primaires), located in disadvantaged areas of Paris, with a strong migrant population from North Africa, Sub-Saharan Africa, Asia and Eastern Europe, with children aged from 2 to 12 years old. I was helping the children to create their own dolls in order to amuse them, to make them smile and laugh and meanwhile also familiarizing them with children’s rights and with the problems encountered by other children of the world who do not have the amazing chance to be born and raised in France.
